Alex Wood is an executive producer, showrunner and director with substantial  experience making prime-time factual series for US and UK networks such as National Geographic, Discovery, Animal Planet, TNT and Channel 4. He has worked across a wide range of genres including sport, true crime, natural history, adventure, science and history.

He has filmed all over the world on ambitious projects in difficult environments, documenting endangered wildlife, handling challenging contributors and securing difficult access. Alex brings creative storytelling, strong script writing, sharp direction, visual flair and a unique attention to detail to every shoot and edit.
